Supported district-wide IT operations for Nye County School District during a summer infrastructure upgrade period. Worked alongside full-time IT staff to deploy new network equipment, maintain systems, and ensure continuity of services across multiple school sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Deployed and configured over 15 network switches across district locations, ensuring proper connectivity and integration with existing network architecture.
• Integrated new networking hardware with legacy infrastructure, troubleshooting compatibility issues and minimizing downtime during upgrades.
• Assisted with system administration tasks including daily backups, user account management, and routine hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Documented IT workflows and created step-by-step support guides to improve onboarding efficiency and knowledge transfer for future staff and interns.
